NORTHLAND IADA NEWS!

The Holidays are behind us and winter is on the downhill side. It's back to business, get ready for tax refunds and spring selling!

I have made a couple announcements at the Northstar Auto Auction, but I want to make sure all members get the word.

~ Northland Independent Auto Dealers Association has a Quality Dealer Award. You can nominate a dealer you feel does an outstanding job running their dealership and is an asset to his or her community. Nominations can be made by fellow dealers, employees, spouses, or friends. The person who wins the Northland Quality Dealer Award will go on to the NIADA national competition. The Nation Award will be given at the NIADA Convention June 11- 14 at Cesar's Palace in Las Vegas, NV. It has been a while since Northland has had a Quality Dealer in Las Vegas. NOMINATE THAT DEALER TODAY!

~ Northland IADA will award a scholarship to a son, daughter, or grandchild of a Northland member. This can be used for college or trade school. The winner of this scholarship will be placed in the NIADA National Scholarship competition. They will be competing with all entries from across the nation for a bigger prize at the NIADA Convention. ~ Last but not least, are you familiar with the window tinting law in Minnesota - MMS 169.71 S4? If there is aftermarket tinting on the windows, it's probably illegal. I sold a car last February, the customer was stopped and the Trooper checked the tint. He said it was too dark, and since it was on the car when it was sold, I got the ticket! $180.00! Now you know....
